Art Teacher required

To cover Maternity Leave from September to December

Salary MPR/UPR

 

We are seeking to appoint an innovative and creative teacher of Art to cover for maternity leave. You will be required to teach A level fine Art and Photography, and deliver Arts Award during out Inspire curriculum.  You must have high expectations of achievement and behaviour, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.  You must also be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos and Mission of the School.

Information about the school

Located on the southern fringes of the historic city of Canterbury, St Anselm's is a happy and successful wide ability school, catering for those who wish to receive a Catholic education. The school has a large catchment area extending from Ashford to Herne Bay and from Wingham to Faversham. It is regularly over-subscribed. The Sixth Form, numbering 150 students, offers a wide range of Advanced level and vocational courses. In September 2004 the school became a specialist school for Science, though retaining its Catholic ethos.
