Data Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Trust Data Team.  Significant and extensive new build investment is being made, right now, in our academy.   This will give students access to superb new learning resources and support our dedicated leaders and teachers in achieving our vision, which is, quite simply, to ensure that all of our students achieve beyond expectations and flourish as confident learners with the highest aspirations.

The High Weald Academy is a small rural school and we pride ourselves on the family ethos and culture which comes from knowing each student for their individual talents, interests and abilities.

As part of our central services you will be based at The High Weald Academy in Cranbrook, but will work with all schools in our multi-academy trust, ensuring the delivery of an efficient and professional service to our stakeholders.  As a trust wide service, you may be required to travel to our other academies on occasion, and so access to your own transport is essential.

This position is an immediate start and is part time, 22.5 hours per week, term time only, plus 9 additional days to be worked during school closure periods.  The hours must be worked over a minimum of 3 days per week, but we may negotiate the same hours spread over more days with the successful candidate.   The salary for this position is Kent Range 6, £10,795 - £11,782 per annum (full time equivalent £20,222 - £22,072.

You will have experience of working in an administration role and will be able to evidence your use of ICT systems and software, particularly Excel.  Previous experience in a data role would be an advantage, but a full schedule of training is available for the successful candidate.  All candidates will be expected to have an understanding of data and assessment in Education therefore, we would respectfully suggest that research is conducted into this area prior to application.
