The Federation has a large senior leadership team who work closely together to create the best outcomes for all pupils. Working alongside other Key Stage Leaders is an essential element of the role.  The Federation will offer the right person fantastic opportunities to develop their own professional knowledge and expertise

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and creative teacher, with a track record of impacting positively on the lives of pupils, to lead our Key Stage Four team and inspire others to continually strive for higher standards and new innovations.

The successful candidate will be a good to outstanding teacher who will teach English and Humanities to secondary aged pupils. The post holder will play a vital role in improving the quality of teaching and learning across the school, in particular within Key Stage Four. The development of others is vital to this role, therefore previous experience in leading teams is important.

The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to supporting the senior leadership team to:

  1. Liaise with class teams to facilitate improvement.
  1. Model classroom practice and provide support and guidance to colleagues in selecting the most appropriate teaching and learning methods and resources for pupils.
  1. Ensure delivery of a high quality curriculum characterised by good learning and teaching, enthusiastic involvement and a sense of purpose and enjoyment from staff and pupils.
  1. Ensure substantial and sustained, high quality performance of pupils from their starting points, evidenced by positive and improving progress data within a positive climate for learning.
  1. Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, leading to improved rates of pupil progress.
