Student Support Co-ordinator

Full time, term time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £24,706 - £27,250 fte 

Local Government Pension Scheme – 20% employer contribution

 

We are seeking to recruit a Student Support Co-ordinator to work as part of our Sixth Form Leadership Team.  The postholder will play a pivotal role in co-ordinating the monitoring and intervention strategies for our Sixth Form students in order to create a positive environment where interventions to support personal wellbeing and academic success are timely and appropriate.  

The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills as they will work directly with students, parents, staff and external agencies to best meet the wellbeing and academic needs of our students.   In addition the successful applicant must be a strong administrator so that written communications and record keeping around student monitoring and support are accurate and to ensure the successful planning of key sixth form events.

The position is term time plus 10 additional days, some of these will be covered by attendance at evening events e.g. parent consultation evenings.
