Do you want to play a key role in making the Sinden Theatre the venue of choice in this part of Kent?

We require a confident, pro-active individual to manage the front of house experience for our clients and to support in taking the Sinden Theatre to the next stage of its development.  You will have excellent

organisational skills and will work closely with the Head of Performing Arts to ensure the smooth running of the facility, both for clients who have booked the theatre as a venue and for patrons attending our wide-ranging shows.

A flexible approach will be required to ensure that Sinden Theatre events are adequately staffed and this will involve working evenings and weekends.

Information about the school

Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2000 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools and nurseries serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside. Home Farm Nursery is based in the grounds of Homewood School.

Homewood has excellent facilities for all its students and our specialisms in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and the Rural Dimension underpin our approaches to learning which are designed to raise achievement across the whole student body. We aim to maintain and develop the cultural aspirations of the school community in line with our priorities of “belonging” and “respect” and offer a broad range of curriculum opportunities in all subject areas. This also extends into the local community through partnerships across primary, secondary and higher education sectors as well as non-educational community partners.
