Early Years Teacher wanted from Monday 2nd September 2019

We are a delightful, small, rural, Church of England school (currently 95 children in 4 classes). We have a very committed team of conscientious and caring staff. Our parents and governors are very supportive and encouraging. We also have polite, well behaved and well motivated children.

We are looking for a committed and conscientious person, to join our team who can demonstrate excellent teaching practice in our small Reception class of 15 children, to ensure that the children achieve our very high expectations of them. Recent experience of Early Years teaching and a knowledge of tracking using the EYFS profile are required.  Knowledge of and an ability to support pupils with a range of special needs, including ASD, is necessary.

This post will be as a full time teacher and applications from NQTs are welcome.   There is a full time Teaching Assistant with this class and there will be an opportunity to meet with the retiring class teacher prior to starting this post.  Visits to the school are encouraged.

This post is initially for one year.
