Full-time Teacher of Design Technology & Art

Starting Date: 1 September 2019 (MPS/UPS)

 

Information for Applicants:

The successful candidate will be able to teach both DT and Art in at least one Key Stage and able to specialise in one subject in KS4-5.

Both DT and Art are very well established within KS4-5 and have several examination groups at GCSE.  In KS5 both Art & Photography are taught and DT typically has one examination group per year group. That the subjects are successful is evidenced by how popular both the Art and DT exhibitions are that are embedded into the school’s calendar and enrich the curriculum experience of all.

This is a post for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher. The school is open to employing either an experienced colleague or someone new entering the profession. However you will be committed to achieving high standards in all areas of school life and can show the potential to contribute a great deal to the future development of the subject at Borden Grammar School.
