Astor College requires a very talented and dynamic Teacher of French who can inspire students, be innovative and achieve outstanding results. This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher. Our ideal candidate will be someone who can deliver lessons at KS3 and KS4 French with enthusiasm and constant drive to push students to achieve outstanding progress and attainment.  You must have a friendly, calm and patient manner when under pressure with an ability to adapt teaching to push the most able whilst also being able to understand the difficulties some of our weakest students face learning languages.

Astor is an outward facing school with a wide range of professional development opportunities. We are a designated Teacher Development Trust Regional CPD hub, and we are also involved in local Teaching and Learning networks with the other secondary schools in the area. We have a long history of growing our own teachers, with lots of potential to develop into middle leadership roles.

Start date September 2019

Salary dependent upon experience.

Full Time – Permanent.
