Are you an outstanding Family Liaison Officer looking for an exciting new challenge?

Here at Cranbrook Primary, we are looking for a Family and Community Manager to join our team from September 2019, as part of our senior leadership team. The role is for 30 hours (four days a week) and the salary will be offered at Kent Range 7 (pro rata’d salary: £15,226).

We are a small (but ambitious!) Church of England Primary School, ready to build on previous recent successes and continue our journey towards being an outstanding school. If you are an experienced or aspiring Family Liaison Officer with a passion for learning and a desire to improves outcomes for children and families, this could be the job for you!

Ideally, the successful candidate will have recent experience and demonstrable success of working with families in the community and/or experience of working in a school environment, knowledge of child development, how children learn and how barriers to learning might be addressed.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, good listening skills, knowledge of child protection procedures and a proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams are essential requirements for this role.
