Salary and grade: MPS dependent upon experience in line with the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document 

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the further development of this friendly, caring, Ofsted outstanding grade child-centred Voluntary Controlled Church of England School.  The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a full time, enthusiastic, creative and exemplary classroom practitioner to join our team in ensuring continuous improvement in standards at the school. The available post will be located in our Early Years setting and is suitable for NQTs or more experienced teachers.  We are looking for a teacher who: 

  • Demonstrates excellent teaching across the Foundation Stage and high expectations.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of how young children learn
  • Uses a variety of teaching strategies to ensure pupils are challenged and inspired
  • Has a good knowledge of Early Years and Development Matters
  • Has a good understanding of Assessment for Learning strategies
  • Works supportively and with flexibility in a small school environment.
  • The post is offered on a fulltime basis. Visits to the school are welcomed.
