Are you a highly skilled, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of ERS, Sociology or Psychology looking for an exciting new opportunity?
As Principal Teacher of Social Sciences you will have responsibility for overseeing all aspects of Social Sciences at Key Stages 4 and 5, alongside working with a team of Principal Teachers overseeing KS3 Humanities. An understanding of the IB Psychology and IB Social and Cultural Anthropology Diplomas would also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and have the motivation and energy to lead a team of teachers, improving student outcomes. They will be dedicated to all students, ensuring that they get the support and encouragement they need to succeed. Excellent communication skills with both students and staff will be essential in order to develop a positive, hard working and productive department. Relationships with our students are an essential key to their success. Experience with some aspects of curriculum development would be beneficial.

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2100 students including 350 in the Sixth Form.
