Part Time 28 hours - including hours as MDMS

We are looking for:

  • An effective, engaging and inspirational HLTA who is committed to supporting high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Someone who can challenge, stimulate and meet the needs of pupils.
  • Someone with the ability to enthuse and motivate children, staff and parents.
  • Someone with a desire to ensure that all children make excellent progress.
  • Someone with the willingness to develop, lead and embrace new initiatives.
  • Someone with the ability to communicate well and work as part of a team.
  • Someone willing to embrace the Christian ethos of the school.
  • Someone keen to make a difference to children and their lives.

Particular skills/experiences/areas of interest in some or all of the folloing areas are:

  • Experience of working in KS1 - EYFS/Yr1/2
  • Knowledge of EYFS profile and transition into Year 1
  • Experience/qualifications in Forest School/Outdoor Learning
  • Knowledge and experience of running nurture groups/interventions
  • Knowledge, experience and skillset of teaching phonics
  • Experience of teaching/covering whole classes

Training will be provided as part of the induction package of support and should needs be for the nurture role - including outdoor learning.

Visits are warmly welcome and we would be keen for you to come and meet us.

Lympne Church of England Primary School is a happy, popular school set in the village of Lympne. The school is one form entry, currently 205 on roll and was opened in 2008.
