At Downsview, we are looking to appoint an outstanding Key Stage 2 teacher to join our committed and motivated team, who are dedicated in providing the best learning opportunities for our pupils. The successful applicant will lead a core subject which we will be willing to negotiate with the right candidate.

Our pupils, governors, staff and parents are looking for someone who:

  • is able to successfully work in a team, to ensure a positive impact on pupil's progress and attainment
  • is able to plan engaging activities, which cater for all children's needs
  • is confident with assessment without levels
  • is aspirational and believes that every child can succeed
  • is approachable and able to support other members of staff with their professional development 
  • has excellent subject knowledge 
  • is willing to develop their own CPD - we will be willing to fund NPQML/ NPQSL for the right candidate
  • is able to create strong links with parents (and other stakeholders) in order to develop children's learning

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.

We aim to provide the pupils in our care with learning, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Pupil and staff well-being is an ever-present priority for us.
