The role requires you to be passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs so that you can help us make a positive impact on our children's lives. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working with children and have the initiative to follow and implement personalised education and health plans with the child in order to help them reach their full potential. The role requires you to have confidence, clear commutation skills, as well as a nurturing approach. You must be committed for the academic year and demonstrate an interest in developing your career in education, whether this be becoming a teacher or further growing as an important figure within the school as an advocate for SEND.
The role requires working with a group of high functioning pupils with ASD who display highly impulsive behaviours. They are fun, light hearted and confident. They need someone who can engage their spirit, embrace their personalities and enable them to integrate with their peers.

It is essential that the applicant has good literacy/numeracy skills and should preferably hold a teaching assistant qualification.
The salary will be paid on Kent Range 3 to 5 and is negotiable for exceptional candidates.
