We are looking for a Director of English to join our new Educational Services Team. This role is exciting, diverse and provides the opportunity for autonomy, creativity and the opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of thousands of learners.

As a Senior Leader in the organisation, you would be joining a small team of Directors to drive improvement in teaching and learning, with the specific responsibility for English across our large organisation. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in leading English to GCSE level and a passion and drive for high aspirations for every learner.

Information about the school

EKC Group was formed from the merger between Canterbury College and East Kent College on 1 February 2018. The two colleges – which had both been graded as Ofsted ‘Good’ – came together to create a powerhouse in East Kent’s educational landscape, with a family of colleges in Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone and Sheppey.
