Required for immediate start – a teaching assistant to join our friendly, supportive and highly successful school. This is a temporary position, linked to High Needs Funding, at 27.5 hours per week.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to work 1:1 with a child in KS2. We are looking for someone who is flexible in order to fill this unique role; experience of working with children with special educational needs will be advantageous. The successful candidate needs to show enthusiasm for the role, as well as being patient and prove they have the skills to help this child to feel comfortable at school, enabling them to fulfil their potential. We require someone who works well within a team and who can use their initiative to help support individual needs. Initially you will be supporting the child at an alternative setting for part of the week, and managing their reintegration.

This is an exciting time to join Colliers Green; we have been lucky enough to have been granted funding for new classrooms which are currently being built and the successful candidate will be able to play an active role in creating a brand new classroom. Forest School is an important part of our curriculum which is run in an area of woodland next to the school and led by two of our staff. Our Ofsted inspection in March 2019 graded us as Good. Our dedicated team of staff and governors work together to create a school where there is a real sense of family and where good teaching can flourish.
