Guidance Manager

(Maternity Cover)


We wish to appoint a well organised and enthusiastic person as Guidance Manager to work with the Academy Director to monitor and communicate the overall welfare, behaviour, attendance and progress of students.  This is a maternity cover position.


The ideal candidate should have a flexible approach and the skills and confidence to deal with situations in a professional manner.  A high level of confidentiality is essential along with the ability to work within a team in a calm and friendly manner


Additional duties include some cover for absent teachers and some administration tasks


Support and training will be available but experience of working with young people would be an advantage


The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure application to the  Disclosure & Barring Service and check against the ISA Barred List for Children plus verification of the right to work in the UK


Salary is in the BP5 range from £18704 pro rata for 37 hpw over 5 days, term time only + 10 days
