Maplesden Noakes is an 11-18 co-educational non-selective school with approximately 1184 pupils on roll including 248 in the sixth form. The school has an excellent reputation, is popular with parents and regularly over-subscribed. Due to the school’s expansion we are currently seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Philosophy and Ethics to join our successful school. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach up to and including A Level and will need an excellent knowledge of Christianity through to A Level and Islam for GCSE. Examination boards currently used are AQA at GCSE and Eduqas for A Level. This position is open to NQTs as well as more experienced colleagues and part-time employment will be considered.
