We are looking for a wonderful, inspirational and shiny Family Liaison Officer (FLO) to join our fantastic Willesborough team, who work together to make learning irresistible and children smile!

This is a fulltime post, 8.30 -4pm, term time only. We are ideally looking for someone who can start in April.

You will be;

  • Working with families and staff across Willesborough Infant and Junior School and a number of other professionals, including Social Workers, Early Help Workers, Surestart Practitioners and FLOs from other schools.
  • Providing direct support for families in need, as well as general support around a range of issues.
  • Delivering and supporting family wellbeing engagement activities and workshops
  • Facilitating school engagement in community resources and activities
  • Signposting families in need of help and support to appropriate services
  • Encouraging parental involvement in the school and its activities?

Information about the federation

Willesborough Infant and Willesborough Junior schools are large schools, who federated in January 2019, forming The Willesborough Schools Federation. The two schools have worked together for many years as link schools. We are proud of our unique identity as federated infant and junior school and the progressive curriculum and provision we have created for our pupils and community.

The federation offers excellent opportunities for staff to work across both schools and enjoy being part of a big school team. As a large organisation, the Willesborough Schools can offer training, coaching and mentoring to teachers, classroom practitioners and support staff, who are new to their profession, as well as a passion and commitment to the growth of leaders and managers at all levels.
