Higher Level Teaching Assistant 

Required for April 2019

SAT Band 6
£19,864 to £21,790 fte which equates to £15,855 to £17,392 pro rata

35 hours per week, term time including five staff development days

 

We are seeking to employ an experienced HLTA  preferably with with previous primary school experience.  You will be working with teachers and phase leaders to organise and support teaching and learning activities for our classes.  The primary focus is to undertake specified work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction of a qualified teacher.

 

Westlands Primary School is a larger than average Primary School and is a member of the Swale Academies Trust.  The School was rated ‘Good’ overall by Ofsted in May 2015, with the Early Years Provision receiving an ‘Outstanding’ grading.  We are in the process of expanding from two-form to three-form entry.
