Advert

The opportunity to work at our beautiful old school set in spacious grounds has arisen with the creation of this new premises management post.

The key purpose of the site manager will be to ensure that the school premises are kept safe, secure and maintained to a high standard. The role will include routine tasks such as maintenance of our swimming pool and carrying out safety checks, but there will also be an opportunity to identify areas for improvement, e.g. energy efficiency and building improvements. The post-holder will liaise with external contractors regarding grounds maintenance and cleaning contracts.

We are looking for someone who is physically fit and willing to engage in practical tasks.  Good communication and time management skills are essential while skills in premises maintenance, such as basic carpentry are an advantage.

The post is for 25 hours per week, 1pm – 6pm Monday to Friday on a 52 week per year contract (including 24 days paid leave and bank holidays).

Visits to the school are welcome. Please contact the School Office on 01622 743596 if you would like to come and see us.
