Sunny Bank is a continually developing and growing primary school supported by Hampton Collaborative Trust. We require a Family Liason Officer to join our hard working and dedicated Well Being Team.

This is a key role to provide and establish positive links between home and school, promote good attendance and develop the home school partnership. You will be actively involved in developing and forging the partnership between children, parents and school by supporting and signposting parents, helping them overcome financial difficuties and giving them the ability to deal with issues relating to their own children.

You will be experieced in liaising with outside agencies including social services, making support requests and providing training for parents. Your duties will also include monitoring attendance and puncuality in liaison with the SENCO.

The ideal candidate will have good coomunication skills, be approachable, patient, compassionate and understanding, flexible in their approach and have a good sense of humour. The successful applicant will be organised and work both independently and as a team member. You will have high standards of work ethic in terms of motivation, personal presentation, punctuality and team work. 

Previous experience of working with families, Early Help and training pertinent to the role will be an advantage.

NVQ3 qualification or equivalent is a requirement.
