We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, engaging and reflective practitioner to join our Business Department.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teaching skills and an ability to motivate, enthuse and challenge our students to produce work of the highest quality. 

We can offer the chance to work alongside excellent teachers in a supportive and aspirational department, where staff development is at the core of our on-going success. 

Applications are welcome from NQTs as well as from more experienced practitioners.  We offer Business Studies to our students at Key Stages 4&5, delivering the A Level (Edexcel) and BTEC Levels 2 and 3, and we would tailor a timetable accordingly to suit the ability and experience of the successful candidate. 

We have launched the new BTEC Tech Award in Enterprise qualification and an ability to deliver this qualification would be an advantage.

St John’s is a very successful co-ed Catholic school with over 1300 students including c.300 in our Sixth Form.
