We are looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to join our friendly team from the Summer Term 2019. Please be aware this is a temporary position to cover maternity leave until the current post holder returns.
The post will be for 37 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday. 39 weeks per year.
The suitable candidate must be flexible, cheerful and able to use their initiative. This is a busy and sometimes hectic office; no two days are ever the same. We are looking for someone with a can do approach and the ability to be flexible, helpful and friendly.

This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirements for public sector workers. The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2010 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. This will be assessed during the recruitment/selection process and probationary stages.
The school was first founded in 1894 and has taught the children of Bean ever since. The new premises was opened in 1966. As a village school, we benefit from a rural location with easy access to the A2 and Bluewater. This provides many opportunities for creative and interesting learning opportunities for our pupils.
