Bredgar Church of England Primary School is a popular, small, Church of England Primary School located on the outskirts of Sittingbourne. We are looking for a highly efficient, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our hard working and dedicated team.

The post is for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant working with a child in KS2. This post would suit someone who is patient and has behaviour management experience. Knowledge of synthetic phonics is beneficial.

The child will also need supporting socially in the playground over the lunchtime and you will be expected to supervise groups of children.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year. The position is currently for 5 mornings 08:45 to 13:15 (22.5 hours a week). 

You will need to be educated to GCSE level and have attained Level C or above in both Maths and English and have a basic knowledge of IT. You will also need to be flexible, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience is desired.
