Senco Part time – 2 or 3 days, dependant on ideal applicant

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, friendly and committed Senco to join our school. We are a 1 form entry school with a growing range of SEN needs and a diverse range of children.

Are you resilient and self-motivated, with the expertise to move our SEN provision forward and develop our provision. 

You will need to hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination and have relevant experience in inclusion. The salary would include an additional SEN allowance.

 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a wide range of SEN experience as well as being an excellent class teacher.

You will have overall responsibility to lead and manage SEN and inclusion across the school, developing and implementing curriculum and education programmes structured towards our SEN children ensuring there is a continual focus on the quality of the education provision.

You will need experience in working with parents, specialists and other outside agencies. This will include experience in filling in SEN forms i.e EHCP’s. You will need to be able to offer support to class teachers on provision maps and be able to carry out analysis of childrens data.

You will be leading and supporting a small team who need developing to support the needs of all.

Greenlands Primary School is a 1 form entry primary school which is part of Cygnus Academies Trust. The school is within close proximity of the A2/M2, M20 and M25. We are currently undergoing major building work and modernisation to the top block of our school.

We are a fully inclusive school. We believe that nurture and support will allow our fantastic children to achieve their potential in all areas. We have high mobility with a rising roll, which requires flexibility, creativity and patience.

Greenlands Primary School opened as of the 1st February 2019, replacing Darenth Community Primary school. We are a village school with big ambitions to grow and improve.
