Advert

Abacus nursery is an ‘outstanding’ provider (Ofsted 2016), we help children on a learning journey that helps them grow and develop to reach their full potential.

Joining our friendly team, you will provide vital support to children under 5 years old and their key persons with a range of high quality play and learning experiences.  You will work 30 hours a week, from Monday to Friday term time only, also assisting at lunch.

An excellent team player with the ability to work on your own initiative, you’ll preferably hold a NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development or equivalent.  Experience of working with children (0-5 years) and their families is essential, and a good working knowledge of Early Years Foundation stage would be an advantage.  Most importantly, you’ll enjoy the rewarding challenge of working with very young children and their families.

Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time. That's why they are called the foundation years – the building blocks for life!  So if you want to make a positive contribution to this important stage of children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested in being part of our dynamic, supportive team and feel you have what it takes to work in our wonderful nursery setting, please join us on our journey!
