TEACHER – KS2 TO KS4

Full-Time, Term Time Only, Permanent position to commence asap

A qualified, creative and enthusiastic Teacher is sought to teach a range of subjects to our small group of 34 pupils at KS2 to KS4, with an emphasis on Mathematics, at our wonderful special school.

We have high expectations of our pupils and adapt and build the curriculum around them and their needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Group working with vulnerable children with a wide range of behavioural and emotional needs. We are a collaborative team and nurture a welcoming and supportive environment for all of our pupils and staff.

For more information and an informal discussion please contact Liz Wood – Operational Manager, SENCO and DSL on 01795 523 900.

Information about the school

ISP School is an independent specialist provision serving children and young people (CYP) in Kent and Medway who live with their families, foster carers or in residential children’s homes.

We support children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs, and our experienced education teams work hard to deliver highly innovative and personalised curriculums that are tailored to individual pupil's requirements.

We ensure that we offer safe and nurturing environments, where all children are valued as individuals so that they can achieve the very best for themselves and their future. Our empathetic staff teams work closely with pupils to build trusting relationships, review their needs regularly, and differentiate the curriculum accordingly, so that we can offer individualised support for their special educational needs.

All our pupils benefit from small, friendly classes of a maximum of 5-7 pupils per class, allowing us to really get to know our children, achieve positive outcomes and succeed in providing pathways that enable a smooth transition to higher education, training and apprenticeships.

Making a difference to children and helping them to grow is what's most important to us and so we provide an innovative curriculum that enables each of our learners to develop their personal, emotional, social, and academic skills and knowledge, which will shape their whole life.
