Please note that this position is a Temporary Contract whilst the child is at Sholden Primary School and receiving high needs funding.
We are looking for a candidate who has very high expectations of themselves and others and works well within a team. The successful candidate will work with a child with significant ASD needs including medical and should be happy to support personal care needs.
We are seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to work with a Year 1 child with some complex ASD needs. The role will involve working primarily with the named child and the successful candidate will be involved in working closely alongside the class teacher to deliver appropriate support.
They will need to be passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs, and can help us make a positive impact on our childrens’ lives. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working with children and have the initiative to follow and implement personalised education and health plans with the child in order to help them reach their full potential. They will need to have high standards of work ethic in terms of motivation, personal presentation, punctuality, professional standards, good communication and team work. Full training will be given for supporting the medical needs of the child.

Sholden Church of England Primary School is a delightful small, church primary school located on the outskirts of Deal. We have 4 classes and approximately 100 pupils on roll. We have wonderful, hard working and well behaved pupils and a dedicated team of professionals to lead them.
