PART TIME - JOB SHARE - 8.30 to 3.30 two days per week. Start date Term 4 2019

We are looking for a dynamic member of staff to join our very talented team of SEND Teaching Assistants. The role involves working to facilitate the provision for a Y5 child with Down Syndrome with some additional language difficulties.

The child's provision is already very carefully mapped out and there are opportunities to work with some experienced members of staff to 'learn the ropes'! You would work closely with the SENCo and class teacher to include the child in whole class activities where possible and will have some specific interventions to run on a 1:1 basis.

skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents and professionals?
able to sign using Signalong, Makaton or BSL or committed to developing this skill?

Please be advised that this role is linked directly to the child's individual provision and subject to the continued successful application of High Needs Funding; it is therefore a fixed term contract until the child leaves at the end of Year 6 - August 2020.
