Searching for the next step in your career? Or are you an aspiring NQT looking for your first teaching role? A school that values personal development is looking for you! We are looking for an experienced KS1/2 teacher, or enthusiastic NQT, to complete our team for September 2019.

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of our friendly, rural school, set in the beautiful village of Benenden.

We can offer you the opportunity to be involved in our exciting new school building which will be opening in September 2019 and replace our current ‘challenging’ premises. Our whole school community including Governors and parents are striving to ensure that every pupil has the opportunity to be the best they can be.

In addition we shall be formally collaborating with Goudhurst and Kilndown Church of England Primary School from April 2019. If you are a teacher who is passionate about working with children, have the motivation to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils, and wish to be part of our collaboration, then please contact Mrs Lindsay Roberts Headteacher on 01580 211365 or email her directly on headteacher@goudhurst-kilndown.kent.sch.uk for further information. We look forward to meeting you.

Information about the school

Benenden CEP School has recently moved into a brand new building, in an idyllic Kent village setting. The school has hard working staff and governors, consistently high achieving children and supportive parents, all leading to a happy school and an effective learning community. We were judged to be good by Ofsted in all areas in January 2017 and attained a judgement of good in our recent Church School inspection.

We are also very excited to be working in a formal collaboration with Goudhurst and Kilndown Church of England Primary School.
