Learning Support Assistant for 1:1 Support
27 hours a week (5 days)
Term time only - 39 wks per year (including Staff Development Days)
Kent Range 3, Point 4 – Point 8 £15,628 to £17,188 pa
Pro rata £9,623.28 - £ 10,583.88 pa
FIXED TERM CONTRACT INITIALLY – 1 YEAR BASED ON HIGHER NEEDS FUNDING GRANT
A professional and adaptable person is required to work across subject areas, to proactively support students with their learning and welfare needs in order to maximise their levels of achievement and independence. This role will be focused on specific students who require additional support with behaviour and social emotional mental health, and is dependent on Higher Needs Funding which is secured annually. It would be an advantage to have experience of working in a similar post or school setting and a level 3 Diploma or equivalent is essential.
