Teaching Assistant 1:1

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Foundation Stage child for 25 hours a week.   This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference to children’s development, supporting and encouraging them as they strive to achieve their goals.

Some experience working with children with Language/ASD and Behaviour needs in either a mainstream or a specialist setting particularly in early years or KS1, would be an advantage for the successful candidate. Training in Makaton or other language interventions would be ideal but not essential. A good standard of English (including understanding of learning through phonics) and Maths to enable them to model and support appropriately is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Eythorne Elvington Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and all posts are subject to mandatory checks for safeguarding and employment.
