We are looking to recruit an inspiring, nurturing and patient Learning Support Assistant to join our Early Years team working 25 hours per week during term time in our Reception Class.

Our Lady's Catholic Primary School is a vibrant and well-resourced school committed to providing high quality education within a nurturing environment. The successful candidate will support the class teacher to deliver an inspiring and engaging creative curriculum, working with the whole class, small groups and individual pupils.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to contribute to a creative and innovative curriculum in which first hand memorable experiences underpin sucessful progress for all pupils. We are looking for candidates qualified to NVQ/CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Supporting Teaching and Learning and GCSE Grade C or above in English and maths or equivalent.

The ability to embrace the school's caring ethos where all pupils and staff are valued is essential.

Our Lady’s is a popular one form entry primary school situated in west Dartford. We currently have 220 pupils on roll in 7 classes.

We aim to fully develop the potential of each child, in a caring, supportive and Christian environment centred on our Catholic Faith. The school strongly promotes the development of the whole child, and places great importance on the children’s physical, creative, emotional and social development alongside their academic excellence.

Our creative curriculum is delivered in collaboration with the pupils and based on the delivery of first hand experiences wherever possible. We are passionate about making learning relevant and memorable.
