We wish to appoint qualified, specialist SEN Supply Teachers, initially on an ad-hoc basis, to work with pupils in all key stages across the school.
We are looking for positive and motivated professionals who will ideally have experience of working with children with autism and associated social and communication difficulties.
We would also welcome applications from enthusiastic, experienced Teachers or NQTs wishing to transfer to this type of work . Comprehensive training will be provided for all new staff.
You will be responsible for the day to day organisation and teaching of a class group, ensuring students are provided with access to a broad and balanced curriculum You will be expected to prepare teaching programmes, activities and schemes of work for individual students and groups. In return you will have the support of an experienced, supportive and welcoming team.
The ability to work with other disciplines and to direct a small team of team of teaching assistants is also required.

Stone Bay School specialises in providing both day and residential education for pupils aged 8 to 19 years who have a diagnosed autistic spectrum disorder, profound, severe and complex needs and additional comorbidities. We currently provide for around 60 pupils but our roll is continuing to grow.
Our school is situated on Stone Bay in Broadstairs in a beautiful Victorian building overlooking the sea. The local coastal environment provides many unique and enjoyable learning opportunities for our pupils.
