This position is at Pilgrims Way Primary School, Canterbury and required as soon as possible.

KCC are keen to hear from those members of the community who can demonstrate traffic awareness, a sense of responsibility and are keen to show dedication and commitment in carrying out a very important job to make the roads of Kent safer for children.

The job involves working for approximately half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the afternoon.

A uniform is provided to protect you against the elements. Some basic IT skills and personal email address are required.

Job Purpose: 
To ensure the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians who are accompanying them at specific sites, in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1981.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. Information about the school

The school is a light and airy building, which incorporates 14 classrooms, two Learning Zones and a library. The school has a large playing field at the rear, an ‘outdoor’ classroom where we have a forest school on site. Play equipment for all ages can be found on the playground.

The school has a strong pastoral focus supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic staff team.
