After School Club Supervisor

Are you up for a challenge? Due to the promotion of the current post holder, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic applicant to join our team at Morehall Primary to take a leading role in our after school club. Building on the success of our breakfast club, we have recently opened an after school club and are looking for the right person to make this a real success. We need a candidate who is dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring, to help our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience of working with children of primary school age
  • Be a confident communicator, able to build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Have experience in planning, organising and delivering a high quality, safe, inclusive and creative experience
  • Be able to support the delivery of high quality extra-curricular activities
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • hold a valid first aid and safeguarding children qualification or is prepared to attend these courses prior to starting work.

The role will include:

  • Shared responsibility for the care and supervision of children in the club.
  • Working as part of a small team, and to demonstrate a welcoming and understanding approach to parents and carers.
  • Providing a wide range of stimulating activities ensuring that procedures relating to health and safety are followed.
  • Taking day to day responsibility for the club.
  • Taking the lead in planning, resourcing and supervising weekly activities.

The role will involve working 15:00 – 18:15 Monday to Friday, term time only
