Student Support Assistant 

A student support assistant is required to support Heads of Year and other pastoral team members. 

The successful candidate should:

  • Enjoy working with students
  • Work well as a member of a team
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Cope well under pressure 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with students and parents to improve attendance
  • Supporting students with behavioural needs in classes
  • Supporting staff with agency and parental meetings
  • Investigating behavioural incidents between students
  • Communication with staff, students, parents and agencies 

Fixed Term Contract from March to the end of May (specific dates to be confirmed)

Hours: Term Time only - Monday to Friday 8.30 - 13.30
