St Katherine’s School & Nursery are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Headteacher to join our passionate Leadership Team.  The right candidate must be an ambitious and innovative individual who is ready to work alongside committed Senior Leaders to secure rapid improvement in a time of exciting change at St. Katherine’s.

The new Assistant Head will be non-class based and be directly involved in raising standards with overall responsibility for Years 4,5 & 6. They will be an outstanding teacher with a strong personal drive, coupled with the ability to use this to rigorously improve the quality of teaching in others.  They must have and set high expectations in pupil achievement and a clear view and understanding of how to secure high standards in learning across the school.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged as it is vital that the correct candidates have a strong belief in and fully support St. Katherine’s community ethos and values.

Candidates will be notified of their invitation to attend for interview on Friday, 22nd February, and will need to be available for interview on Wednesday, 27th February 2019

This post is available from our preferred date of April 23rd but consideration would be given to a September 2019 start for the right candidate.

St Katherine's School & Nursery is part of a friendly community, situated in Snodland. Together with Loose Primary School and Coxheath Primary School, it is a member of the Coppice Primary Partnership which is providing many exciting career opportunities for staff to explore.

We value sporting activities highly and have extensive grounds and our own indoor swimming pool. The children swim all year round, taught by qualified swimming coaches and leave the school able to swim well.
