The school Governors would like to appoint two Cleaners to join the school’s experienced team of cleaning staff who are responsible for keeping our school clean & tidy.
The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, be flexible, and have an organised approach to their work. An ability to communicate with staff and pupils in a polite, patient and courteous manner is essential.

Elms School is a special day school for children with social, emotional and learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have ASD, ADHD or other difficulties such as attachment difficulties. The school has a mixed roll of 145 students between the ages of 5 and 16.
The school has been assessed as Good. The most recent inspection report was published in November 2017. At Elms we combine academic success with a therapeutic, nurturing approach in order to best support the learning and emotional needs of our pupils.
The Specialist Teaching and Learning Service for the Dover District (Dover, Deal and Sandwich) is made up of Specialist Teachers and staff from the District’s Specialist provisions. The STLS aims to advise and support Early Years settings and mainstream schools to build the capacity, and confidence to deliver high quality provision and inclusive practice for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to improve pupil progress and outcomes. The STLS is accessed through the Local Inclusion Forum Teams (LIFT) meetings.
