We are looking for a passionate, reliable, inquisitive teacher of English and Media who can see the infinite possibilities in all our girls, no matter what their current skill level.

English is a well-established and highly successful subject at DSTC. You will teach our Key Stage 3 reading and writing skills; you will also teach our Key Stage 4 students the GCSE English Language and Literature curriculum. Candidates who are also able to teach Media Studies to Key Stages 4 and 5 and Film Studies to GCSE will be at a distinct advantage.

As a result, pupils behave very well. 100% of staff feel proud to work at DTSC and 85% of parents who responded to Parent View would recommend DSTC to other parents (Ofsted March 2022).

Lessons at DSTC have a calm and purposeful atmosphere with the students showing a genuine interest in learning. Our teachers tell us they enjoy being able to teach and enable the students to learn without disruption.
