LIBRARIAN (Maternity Cover)

30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Actual Salary in the range of £15,351 - £18,046 pa according to experience and qualifications

Endeavour MAT is a newly formed Trust, which currently comprises Wilmington Grammar School for Girls (WGSG), Wilmington Grammar School for Boys (WGSB) and is the Trust chosen to open Stone Lodge School in Dartford

Wilmington Grammar School for Girls is an 11-18 year old selective Girls’ Grammar School, with a co-educational sixth form, run jointly with Wilmington Grammar School for Boys. The school was judged ‘outstanding’ in November 2015 and is popular and oversubscribed.

Required for May 2019, we are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic school Librarian to cover maternity with good ICT skills to contribute to the continued development of this important and highly valued resource.  A knowledge of Eclipse.Net would be an advantage although not essential.

The successful candidate will

  • be responsible for the day to day running of the Library
  • provide support for all users of the Library resources and facilities
  • organise a range of events to promote the value of reading throughout the whole school community
