We wish to appoint an outstanding, dedicated and highly motivated teacher with a high level of experience in additional education needs. You will need to hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination and have relevant experience in inclusion.

This post is a non- class based and part time, ideally 3 days a week (although there is flexibility with regard to how the three days can be made up) The post would be to start after the Easter break.

You will have overall responsibility for leading and managing SEN and inclusion across the school. You will need to have experience in working with parents, specialists and other outside agencies. This will include experience in filling in SEN forms i.e. EHCPs. You will need to be able to offer support for staff on class and provision maps and be able to carry out analysis of data for various groups of children.

You will be well supported by a group of SENCOs that work in collaboration with our school. In the past the group have held a very successful staff development day and continue to work together on training opportunities.

Our children are highly motivated and we offer a broad, rich curriculum which includes our own Forest School. We have high expectations for achievement, behavior, attitudes and attendance.
