Early Years Practitioner - Maternity Cover

Required from March 2019

 

SAT Band 3  

£15,886 - £17,189 full time which equates to £9,736 - £10,535 pro rata)

27.5 hours per week, term time only (12.30 - 18.00 daily)

 

We are seeking to employ an experienced  Early Years Practitioner to work afternoon / evening sessions. You will work with the whole team to contribute towards the Nursery’s provision of quality education and care for children aged 3 months to 5 years of age, developing partnerships with parents/ carers to increase their involvement in children’s education.  Your contribution, together with that of the whole team will ensure that the facility meets its own high standards as well as those of the Ofsted Early Years Directorate

 

Westlands Nursery is situated within the grounds of Westlands Primary School. Our setting offers a safe, calm and caring environment which allows children the freedom to explore, play and socially interact with their peers.

We have a well-equipped facility offering stimulating and exciting activities and resources.  We operate a free flow approach, which allows children to choose what they want to play with and where they would like to play; whether this is in the inside learning environment or the outside learning environment.  All children will be assigned a key person and this member of staff will work very closely with parents/families and children to form good relationships and bonds to support the child’s learning and development.
