We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at Morehall Primary supporting the access and achievement of pupils with vision impairments in our Specialist Resource Provision. We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring, to help our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.

You should have successful experience of working in either a primary or special school environment, within the classroom, in small groups and/or 1:1. A commitment to developing specialist knowledge and skills in supporting children with vision impairment is essential – including specialist software, technology and Braille.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage with lunchtime activities and supervision so an ability to play, have fun and be able to actively supervise is essential. In addition to this, all employees are expected to contribute to the wider life of the school community and candidates should be mindful of this when applying for the position. As part of the selection process you will be expected to have visited the school prior to interview.
