Staplehurst School is a large village primary school with lovely children and excellent facilities. We are currently seeking a teach assistant to join our team. So

Our closing date for applications is Wednesday 30th January. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 5th February. The start date would be as soon as possible thereafter.

The position will be part time (6.25 hours per day including lunch cover = 31.25 hours a week). The pay is Kent Range 3. The position is temporary in the first instance to work 1:1 with a KS2 child.

Staplehurst School has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Our school is a two form entry community school, with approximately 400 pupils. Situated conveniently, between Maidstone and Cranbrook, in a beautiful rural part of Kent, the school, with its ‘outward-facing, best practice at heart’ culture, has achieved sustained academic improvement and continues to retain an excellent, enthusiastic team of staff.

Blessed within beautiful and spacious grounds, Staplehurst School has the added benefit of two large sports halls, music room, library and a lovely Early Years outside space, as well as a Breakfast Club available from 7.30am and an After School Club until 5.30pm.
