Site Maintenance Technician/Caretaker

Required for immediate start

SAT3 £15,886 - £17,189 per annum

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, year round

The successful applicant will work as member of the Site Maintenance team to provide a comprehensive, well organised and effective caretaking service to this large secondary school. The post is line-managed by the Site Manager. As well as general caretaking duties, they will be expected to undertake site maintenance. A working knowledge and experience of carpentry, electrics, plumbing and decorating would be desirable.

Applicants should be flexible over start and finish times. Shifts will be between the hours of 5.30am and 7.30pm.

Willing to undertake relevant training for minibus driver.

Extra payments will be made to cover any out-of-hours lettings during evenings and weekends and for weekend/Bank Holiday standby duty, all of which are carried out on a mandatory, shared rota basis.
