Learning Support Assistant/Counsellor
Required as soon as possible

The Norton Knatchbull School is looking for:

A Learning Support Assistant/Counsellor. This is a permanent position 35 hours a week, term time only on Kent Range 3 - £15,784 (pro rata £12,312). The successful candidate will work alongside the current Counsellor seeing students from all year groups. When not involved in Counselling sessions the successful candidate will provide support in and out of the class for individuals or small groups of students in the AEN Department. Ideally, candidates should have a Counselling qualification but training can be provided for the right person.

A good attendance record in previous employment and an ability to interact positively with a wide range of people, including teachers, support staff, parents and students aged 11 to 18, are essential.
