At Folkestone St. Mary's Church of England Primary Academy, we are committed to raising standards for all children through an engaging curriculum based on a mixture of adult and child led learning.

We are looking for someone:

  • Who can make a dull day bright for everyone around them.
  • Who can connect with young people and inspire them to success.
  • Who understands the world of a child and can engage them through creative play.
  • Who brings professionalism and is empathetic to our Christian values.
  • Who has the capacity to equip our young people with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Who can use the outside environment as a tool for engaging children.

The contract will initially be a 30 hour per week fixed term contract to the end of the academic year because of budget restrictions.

The successful candidates will have childcare experience, NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or good GCSE results in English and Maths.
