The High Weald Academy

We are excited to be seeking an exceptional leader to join us in pursuit of life changing excellence for our students. In preparation for the opening of our brand new building at The High Weald Academy, we would like to hear from experienced motivated and ambitious leaders ready to make an even more impressive impact.

Our vision is simple – to ensure that all of our students achieve beyond our expectations and flourish as confident learners with the highest aspirations, ready for the university or careers of their choice and also ready for the world in which they will work and live.

We know that central to achieving our ambitious vision is high quality teaching underpinned by exceptional pastoral care and development. We would very much like to hear from talented and committed leaders with successful experience in being creative in their approach to ensuring students have everything they need to thrive. You will be able to take a strategic approach to sharing a passion and vision that inspires the academy community and brings our vision to life through students’ everyday experience. We hope our new colleague will also bring their successful experience in championing progress for all students especially those who need us even more.

In being appointed to this post you will join an exceptionally committed team who believe in doing whatever it takes to ensure our students achieve great things; because they deserve the very best. We are more interested in your passion and ability to make a difference than the length of your career so far.

The High Weald Academy is a small, non-selective co-educational academy that serves the communities of Cranbrook, Staplehurst and the surrounding areas. Every student on roll, is supported and challenged to reach their own personal excellence.

Start date: April or September 2019
